Travel to Lake Inari for an evening of reindeer encounters, dining by an open fire and a chance to see the Northern Lights. After a minibus transfer, settle into a sleigh pulled by your guide’s snowmobile and enjoy the snowy scenery as you head towards the island camp.
Meet and feed the reindeer, then gather around an open fire in a traditional Lappish tent. Your local hosts will welcome you for a homemade dinner featuring salmon or reindeer soup, bread and cheese, grilled sausages and blueberry cake, served with hot berry juice. A vegetarian option is available on request.
Throughout the evening, keep an eye on the sky. With a little luck, the Northern Lights will appear above the frozen landscape, adding a spectacular backdrop to your evening on the island.
