A little closer to Lapland.
Leave the lights of Ivalo behind and join your guide in search of the Northern Lights. Travel in a warm minibus to places where we can get a good view of the night sky. Your guide chooses the route according to the evening's weather and cloud cover.
We stop along the way to step outside, watch the sky and take photographs. Enjoy warm berry juice during a break and let your eyes adjust to the darkness. If the Northern Lights appear, we take time to watch them before returning to our starting point in Ivalo.
The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, and sightings cannot be guaranteed.
Season: 1 November 2026–31 May 2027. Scheduled time: 21:00–23:00 (local time in Finland). Capacity: up to 8 guests.

How it goes
Set off from Ivalo
Travel with your guide in a warm minibus. The route is chosen according to the evening’s weather and cloud cover.
Watch the night sky
Stop to step outside, watch the sky and take photographs. Northern Lights sightings cannot be guaranteed.
Warm up and return
Enjoy warm berry juice during a break before returning to the starting point in Ivalo.
